H.E. Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche

Her Eminence Mindrolling Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche was born as the eldest daughter of Kyabje Mindrolling Trichen Gyurme Künzang Wangyal, the 11th throne holder of the renowned Mindrolling lineage, which has had the unique line of great female masters who have not only been great teachers and yoginis but also an inspiration for generations to come.

When Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche was ten months old, she was recognized by His Holiness the 16th Gyalwang Karmapa as the reincarnation of the great Dakini of Tshurphu, Khandro Orgyen Tsomo, the consort of the 15th Karmapa.

Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche has been teaching internationally for nearly two decades. Rinpoche has been teaching extensively in North America, Europe and Asia since 1992.

Teaching on "The Practice of Tantra and Sacred Outlook"

Sacred outlook, tag nang in Tibetan, literally means "pure perception." It means to perceive oneself and the everyday world as sacred. The principle of sacred outlook lies at the core of the practice of tantra.

Although most practitioners who come in contact with vajrayana teachings in the West generate great enthusiasm for them initially, a closer look reveals a great deal of struggle both in terms of the understanding of tantra and in terms of applying those teachings in individual practice and life. How do we practice sacred outlook? How do we avoid the pitfalls?

We have asked Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche to address these and other questions that a Western student of Dharma may be facing.

Registration at the Door

Registration at the door will be open one hour before each session. Friday evening registration will open at 6:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday morning registration will open at 9:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday afternoon registration will open at 2:00 p.m.

Registration by Mail

If you are unable to register online, please mail a check, payable to Kunzang Palchen Ling, to the post office box below. On the memo line of your check please write "registration, Khandro Rinpoche." Please include a note listing the names of all participants and contact information  (phone number and email address), or email registration@kunzang.org with your information.

We must receive your check by July 6.

Refund Policy

In an event of your cancelation, we offer an 80% refund. In order to receive the refund, you must inform us about the cancellation at least 24 hours before the event starts.  

If the event is canceled by KPL, we will offer a 100% refund.
